Gamers will now have the ability to either trust the pitches called by the catcher or shake them off. Online League Play offers customizable leagues with up to 30 teams, complete with full stat tracking, point benefits and rewards. The My Sliders feature allows users to create their perfect game settings and upload them to the MLB 07 The Show server for others to try out.

This was seen as one of the best games for the PS2. Real baseball. A lot of people however, are rather disappointed with version of the game on the Playstation 3.

The game as average graphics for a powerful console machine. You make a strike and you wonder where on earth the ball is going. Are you convinced that the ball went over the wall. Look again. Oh man! that ball did go over the wall. What! what is he still doing with the ball. Right, he can sit on the bench for the rest of the game. But hold on there are no one left for the field. Maybe the ball has a life of its own. The players seem similar to the players in Sony PS2. One would expect fresh top-notch players tailored for the PS3. Observe the movement of the flags when the wind is blowing. Interesting! The game, MLB 07 The Show is solid despite it lacking some features missing from PS2
